Once again at HQ. incase i forgot to mention that's Head Qarters. did the shift to call Colorado, 6-9, so it was after VA polls had closed. i guess theres a time change or somehting....

They were all nice calls again, most had already voted, which was pointless, and a lot were just too lazy to get their fat ass's off a chair and vote for our next president.

i hope when their kids ask them about this election (since it's history) they're honest and admitt they had nothing to do with it. Maybe then they'll thnk back and say, "hey, i had a chance to be a part of something great, but i was too lazy to press pause on my Tivo, and watch Grey's Anatomy AFTER i voted" ......that will be the day. :)

Worked at HQ a few weeks ago. 6-9 shift, it was kinda scary. I'm used to doing it at home, where no one hears me. But, having to do it in front of a bunch of professionals was horrible. luckily they were all VERY nice. They had food and candy and water and bumper stickers, it was nice. The only part i didn't like was having to campaign for Gilmore at the same time, people kept asking me about his standings an policies, but i felt bad saying idk. w.e. it's over now. They'll get over it. :) once again very nice people to chat with, except for one. I'd write what she said, but I'm pretty sure Geek Squad would try and censor me for some reason. .. . hahaa.

So.... a few weeks ago I did some campaign work. Nothing special. I was behind on my hours and still hadn't contacted anyone, so I went straight to the website. I made an account, which I always regret once that first peice of mail comes and the rest start clogging my inbox. ughh....(sigh). So after that, i checked out the site and found the volunteer page. So i knew i wanted to do the phone calls, since i love debating with people and disturbing them while they're at the dinner table. So i got my first sheet of names and started calling....went through them in about 2 hours and it went well. They all were suprisingly nice. Almost no one hung up on me. I even got an occasional chatty one and basically had to tell the poor woman she was wasting my daytime minutes (ahaha. jk. free nights and weekends :) ) but anyways....hopefully tomorrow i'll get a live one.
